Renovation and extension

The project involved a thorough transformation of an existing house while preserving its original structure. The first phase focused on the complete renovation of the interior spaces and façades, to create brighter, more fluid living areas suited to the daily life of a family.

In the second phase, a double-height extension was added to connect the house with the garden. This space, designed as a summer lounge or winter garden, opens generously to the outside and becomes the heart of the indoor‑outdoor connection.

The garden was completely redesigned in layers: a lower area directly connected to the summer lounge, and an upper area accessible by a stone staircase, offering a large lawned terrace. The low walls, stairs, and benches structure the terrain and create distinct living atmospheres.

On the street side, the living area (kitchen, living room, dining room) extends onto a redesigned terrace. The façade is clad in fiber‑cement panels, whose precise layout emphasizes the contemporary design of the project and unifies the house and extension.
